Strawberry Mountain Natural Beef is 100% natural Beef produced from the highest quality cattle available. These cattle are raised by cattlemen who are concerned about meeting the needs of the consumer. A high commitment is required from each of our producers. They must be certified and follow an approved Beef Quality Assurance (BQA) program. BQA certification ensures that cattle are raised following FDA, USDA and EPA standards, and contain no substances that are harmful to the consumer.

Our cattle begin their life on grass pastures until they reach around 800 lbs. They are then finished on a balanced ration of quality hay, feed grains (Alfalfa, Corn, and Barley), vitamins and minerals. This all vegetarian ration guarantees you a juicy, full flavor cut of beef.

We process our beef at our own processing plant in John Day, Oregon. It is a highly praised facility using state of the art methods of production meeting or exceeding all USDA mandated testing programs. Our beef carcasses are dry aged for 14 to 21 days ensuring our product is tender and flavorful.

The beef is then broken down into primals or subprimals. These are then cut to fill custom orders. Each cut, from primal to a four ounce steak is vacuum sealed to protect it from the elements. Our beef then goes into our cooler or quick freeze where it is held in a perfect state of freshness.

We are aware of the concerns of today's health-conscious consumer. The demands for safe beef products, that still have that robust beef flavor and tenderness, are now being met by Strawberry Mountain Natural Beef.
